Volunteer & Leadership Development Programme

Purpose

Our EIGER University Development Programming Series for Leaders, Student Volunteers in Clubs & Societies, and Coaches at universities is designed to reinforce best practice and strategy, advance their leadership abilities, and build skills that allow them to make even more significant contributions to their teams and to the broader community.

This programming series is our unique offering to universities, as it is a robust programme that encompasses the training and development in the areas of leadership, high performance culture, and performance psychology.

We embrace a collaborative approach with our clients as we work to understand the specific outcome aims of engaging with our programming. Fundamentally, however, our workshops are heavily focused on the practical application of skills in these topic areas, therefore allowing the attendees to be able to positively affect the position they find themselves in immediately across all areas and disciplines at university.

University Groups Worked With

We’ve delivered these workshops to student leaders and volunteers, coaches, and staff of all levels at universities. Our university audiences primarily involve students who are involved in clubs, societies, sport clubs and teams, and those involved in other organised activities, who may choose to attend as an individual or with their whole committee.

We do also offer sport-specific sessions, where those trainings are aimed toward the development of coaches, athletes, volunteer coaches and club staff, Sports Union staff and volunteers, identified club leaders and committee members, to other organisational members that have an integral role in the functioning of the club or team.
