Ashley’s Journey to Date
Ashley’s passion from a young age was always tennis, which was her drive while she competed as a junior competitive tennis player. While a back injury suspended Ashley’s junior tennis career, this experience and mind-set positively translated to the field of psychology, which was one of her two major concentrations of study during her undergraduate career at The Ohio State University.
While completing her studies at Ohio State, Ashley was also an actively involved leader in the campus community as the President of her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, the Undergraduate Student Representative on the University’s Athletic Council, and through an internship she held at the American Red Cross throughout her senior year.
Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from The Ohio State University in Psychology and Spanish with magna cum laude honors, Ashley then gained professional experience in corporate settings with national and multi-national organisations. Through this experience, Ashley began to uncover her interest in human performance development and optimisation across a broader range of sectors.
Ashley has since pursued and obtained her MSc in Performance Psychology with Distinction from the University of Edinburgh. While completing her MSc degree & dissertation research with a surgical unit in the NHS, she also worked to obtain applied experience in working with the Edinburgh City FC and a top UK tennis academy. Ashley is a Graduate Member of British Psychological Society.
